Kenneth M. Adams Kenneth M. Adams was born 1963. He served in the US Navy from July 1981 to March 1996, through the Cold War, Desert Shield and Desert Storm, specializing in Surface Warfare. He served on the staff of Commander of Naval Beach Group 2, serving aboard USS Manitowoc (LST-1180) and USS Iowa (BB-61) in the Atlantic, Mediterranian, and in Saudi Arabia. He separated with the rank of Lieutenant O-3. Ken has lived in Delanco from 2001 to present and has been serving in several capacities as Committee Chair for Delanco Troop 19, Boy Scouts of America. Robert M. Danser Robert Michael Danser was born in Willingboro, the son of Robert W. Danser. He has lived in Delanco since 1986. He entered the US Air Force in August 1997 and served in the Continental US (CONUS), Japan, Korea, and Qatar during Operation Enduring Freedom. He served as an Aircraft Structural Mechanic, attaining the rank of MSgt/E-7. He was attached to the 57th, 18th, 51st, and 305th Equipment Maintenance Squadrons, serving as an aircraft structural mechanic. He separated from the service in September of 2017. Steven J. Herbst Steven John Herbst was born in November of 1960, the son of Adair H. "Bud" Herbst and his wife, Rosemary; Grandson of Maurice Adair Herbst, Jr., all of Holly Street in Delanco. Steve joined the US Army after graduating high school at age 18. He trained at Fort Hood, Texas and in Germany, Steve did three tours of duty in Iraq. He was stationed in Hawaii for many years and is currently stationed at the Joint Base MDL where he serves as a vehicle mechanic. He married, and Steve and Maria moved to Edgewater Park. Dennis E. James Dennis E. James was born in 1951, the son of Lyle and Eleanor James of Delanco. Dennis served in the US Marine Corps from 1972 to 1993 during Vietnam and Desert Storm, earning the rank of Master Sergeant. He earned a Good Conduct Medal, and a Sea Service National Defense Meritorious Unit Award. His family was active at Dobbins Memorial Church in Delanco in his youth. US Marines, MSgt ? Christopher G. McGann Christopher G. "Chris" McGann was born on March 28,1987. He joined the US Marine Corps on September 12, 2005 and served in the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Division Fox Company from March 2006 - March 2008 and the 1st Battalion 4th Marine Division Bravo Company from March 2008 - Feb 2010 where he deployed and served aboard the USS Dubuque (LPD-8), an Amphibious Transport Dock in Hawaii and California with 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and with the Chemical Biological Incident Response Force in Maryland from March 2010 to October 2013. He was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon, Navy Unit Citation Medal, Operation Iraqi Freedom Medal x 2, Global War on Terrorism Expeditonary, Global War of Terrorism Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Medal, Overseas Deployments Medal x 3 and Humanitarian Service Medal. Chris earned the rank of Corporal by his separation on October 3, 2013. He married his wife Julia McGann on May 20, 2016 and moved to John Street in Delanco in 2019. He currently serves as a paramedic for Penndel Middletown EMS Squad and Training and Education Coordinator / Advanced Life Support Coordinator for a Medical Transport/Services company, Ambulnz in PA and NJ.
